Speed dialling is one of those simple features that can really make a big difference, putting all your favourite contacts just a single button press away. Getting it all set up on the Nokia C5-03 is quick and easy too, so join us as we run you through the process after the jump.

Speed dialling enables you to give up to nine favourite contacts their own speed-dial number ranging from 1-9, so that instead of having to find them in your contacts list every time you want to give them a call, you can simply press and hold the number you've assigned and the phone will connect you immediately.

Speed dialling isn't quite as simple on the Nokia C5-03 as on some other Nokia handsets, as the lack of a physical number pad means you first have to tap the Telephone icon on screen to bring up the dialling number pad before you can press and hold your desired number, but that's a small inconvenience in the bigger scheme of things. To get the setup process started, press the Menu button, then tap Settings, then Calling, and finally Speed Dialling.

You'll then be greeted with a three-by-three grid on screen containing the numbers from one to nine. If it's your first time playing around with speed dialling, the only slot that should already be filled is the number one, which is assigned by default as a shortcut to your voicemail.

Tap any of the other numbers and you'll be taken straight into your phonebook to pick the contact you wish to assign to that position. Simply give the contact's name a tap, and they'll instantly be slotted into place. If you want to change any of the entries you've assigned, simply tap and hold the position in question, and a menu will pop up allowing you to change or remove the speed dial contact, or view their phone number. There's even options to call or send a message directly.

Once you're happy with your selection, simply tap Options, then Exit, and that's that.
