How to transfer Ovi Maps routes from the web to your Nokia phone (video)
One of Ovi Maps‘ strengths is undoubtedly the ability to share routes you’ve set up on the PC to your Nokia smartphone. Want to know how to go about it? We have a helpful video to help you out – check it out after the cut.
Ovi Maps is a great mapping and sat nav service all on its own, but unlike some of its mobile rivals it also integrates fully with the Ovi Suite on the web. That means you can use your Ovi account to check out routes and plan journeys on the comfort of your home PC and its full-size screen, and then port them over to your Nokia smartphone for when you head out the front door.
So how do you do it? Well, we could happily tell you, but why settle for words when you can check out the process in video?
Thanks to Nokia, that’s exactly what you can do below. So hit Play to check out how easy it is to transfer a route from Ovi Maps on the web to your phone – the example uses a Nokia N8 but the process will be the same for all Symbian^3 devices, and similar for S60 5th Edition phones.
