The phonebook on your Nokia C7 can hold the numbers of hundreds of your mates, but this can be a double edged sword when you're trying to track them down. Thankfully, there's a search function, and it's easy to use. Join us after the break to find out how to use the phonebook on your Nokia C7...

Some people still prefer to type in numbers manually, even though the phonebook on a Nokia C7 can hold hundreds of numbers. Another option is to scroll down through all the names and numbers – but this can take time when you have lots of contacts.

The easiest way is to do a search, entering letters or full names. To get started, tap the Call button in the bottom right hand corner of your Nokia C7's home screen. This will bring up the keypad, and also the phonebook button. Tap on the button with a phonebook icon on it to bring up your contacts list.

This will show all of your contacts in a list. It's possible to scroll down through them easily, but there's also a bar at the bottom which lets you enter letters – tap it to bring up the keypad.

This shows a full keypad – as soon as you start typing the choice will be narrowed down. You don't even have to type the letters in order – all names with the letters you pick will show up, disappearing one by one as you enter more letters.

Once you've got the name you want, either tap it, or select the green tick button, and you're good to go.
