Nokia and Stephen Elop at Open Mobile Summit

Stephen Elop will be delivering his keynote speech at the Open Mobile Summit at 9.30am on Thursday morning and we'll be there to cover all the action.

Now in its third year, the Open Mobile Summit is a two-day get-together of some of the top executives and stakeholders in not only the mobile industry, but the internet and media industries too. It's a chance for them to discuss relevant issues and explore the future of the open mobile revolution.

Nokia CEO, Stephen Elop is set to lay out his thoughts on a topic billed as 'Thinking big: Creating a truly global mobile ecosystem'. He also be taking part in a discussion about innovation. Not only around smartphones but also tablets and other mobile devices.

In other words, we're going to have the man at the helm of Nokia talking about the company's strategy for achieving worldwide success, as well as discussing the trends and influences that are shaping the smartphone, tablet and operating system markets.

    Well I am sure Elop has to wait to know how the WP will turn out. Also, the innovation to build beyond the Android legacy is the most challenging task in a life time! I hope the features of the Nokia window phones will impress the users and create good revenue in the mobile space.
