The Nokia Wireless Music Receiver MD-31 is part of the new Nokia Gear range of accessories and allows you to play music from your phone, laptop or any other Bluetooth device on your home stereo, wirelessly and with high audio quality.

The Nokia Wireless Music Receiver MD-310 is set to be the next big thing around your home, freeing the music on your phone to send it to a home stereo for that big room sound. This wireless receiver weighs just 125g and has a single button interface, so using it couldn’t be simpler.

Thanks to Bluetooth Class 1 support you’ll be able to roam around within a range of 100 metres, so you can carry your smartphone around with you can still have music playing in another room, even on another floor.

Nokia is expecting big things from the Nokia Wireless Music Receiver MD-310 as it delivers CD quality audio with full apt-X and SBC codec support, which makes playing music on your phone over Bluetooth, no matter the format, smoother and sharper.

Nokia is showing its continued support to NFC (Near Field Communication) by including the technology in the device. You’ll need a NFC supported smartphone, such as the Nokia C7 or the newly announced Nokia N9 but making a connection is even easier than using Bluetooth, as you simply tap your phone on the NFC logo and confirm the pairing, how easy is that?

Set to be available in Black or White, the Nokia Wireless Music Receiver MD-310 is expected to costs around 59 Euros when it ships later this year.
