In the trailer for The Smurfs movie we don’t get to see a lot of plot, it’s more about building up anticipation for the film. However, we do get to see what the Smurfs look like, along with a blue Eiffel Tower and blue Sphinx, and we have to admit they look a lot better than we were expecting

For those who want a plot, then all you need to know is that when the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours. Naturally, this ends up with some hilarious situations, which we’ll have to wait and see the movie when it launches on in August.

In the meantime, we found The Smurfs on our Nokia N8 looking pretty good. The download from the Nokia Ovi Store is quick and the resolution is good enough to fill the whole screen. Overall, The Smurfs may not be the most ground-breaking movie of the summer but it looks like one the kids will love!
