Was it from the first innovation back in 1982 with the Mobira Senator, which was undoubtedly the first ever mobile phone? Did you know it weighed in at a whopping 5.4kg, which is the equivalent of carrying 40 Nokia N9 smartphones around with you?
The mobile brick was around in some form or another for a few good years but by the end of the 1980s, the Cityman 100 looked a lot more like the phones we know today.
Fast forward to the 90's, 1996 to be precise, and how can anyone forget the 'Banana' in the form of the Nokia 8110? This mobile phone played such a pivotal role in The Matrix movie, alongside Keanu Reeves being a phone both modern yet futuristic due to its innovative design?
In the same year the Nokia 9000 Communicator was launched, bringing with it a Landscape screen and foldout keyboard, something that is still mirrored in many of today's modern smartphones, such as the Nokia E7.
Since the turn of the century there have been so many great mobile phones, from the Nokia 6210, classed as the first true 'business' phone, to the Nokia 7650 which was the first colour screen mobile phone, as well as the first device with a camera!
We're a bit gutted the image stops at 2006 as having a full array of Nokia phones and smartphones would be great. Hopefully it'll get updated in bring in such great devices as the Nokia N86, Nokia E71 and right up to the present with the Nokia N8!
