Millions around the world have fallen sway to the infectious appeal of Angry Birds. The basic formula of lobbing birds at pigs to score points might sound overly simplistic, but that's exactly what makes it so appealing.

There have been various Angry Birds updates that have built on this core appeal by delivering additional levels around a set theme, and the sixth themed add-on – Mine and Dine – is now available for Nokia Symbian^3 users in Angry Birds v1.6.0.

There are 45 new levels on offer, which – as you may have guessed by now – take place in a mine setting. Rest assured, though: all the classic gameplay elements you've come to know and love are present and correct, and the latest additions take the total number of Angry Birds levels to an incredible 255.

So if you're running Symbian^3 and still haven't checked out what Angry Birds is all about, head over to Ovi Store now to get your fix of this addictive classic – and feel free to give us your thoughts on the Mine and Dine levels in the Comments below!

@Admin Please edit your post and put a warning that downliading the update from Ovi Store will wipe your game progress. It’s better to wait for the in-game update using the update button.

If you accidentally run the update from ovi store…it’s not too late!
If you cancel the update install (by force closing ovi store) before it’s complete, you’ll be able to open angry birds and keep all your progress.

Update from within Angry Birds (by tapping the globe) and the game progress is restored. It says that the new version isn’t available yet, so maybe need to wait a few more days.

Plus the new version of Angry Birds Seasons is now available too…
