Nokia N8: How To Capture The Screen

Your Nokia N8 is capable of loads of great things - from using satellite navigation to get to your destination, to taking photos and playing games. Occasionally, you'll want to capture the screen as an imagine - when you get to a certain point in a game, for instance, or to show your mates how you've done something. To find out how to capture a screen on your Nokia N8, join us after the cut...

Capturing the screen on your Nokia N8 is a simple task. You'll need to download an app from the Ovi Store, but it couldn't be easier to do. The app you'll need is called ScreenSnap, and once it's running you'll be able to press a simple button to take a snap of anything that shows up on your Nokia N8's screen.

On our handset, we set up ScreenSnap to take a snap when the camera shutter button is pressed. Run the app to bring up the menu, tap on the Hide button to run it in the background, and then each time you tap the shutter button your Nokia N8 will take an image of the screen.

You can choose where you want to save the images by clicking on either Storage or Folder. Once you've opened the folder you select, you'll be able to see all the images taken by ScreenSnap - where you'll be able to send them by Bluetooth to your laptop or other devices.
