The Ovi Suite is one of the cornerstones of any serious Nokia smartphone user's world, and the good news is that the Ovi Suite 3.1.1 Beta has just had its big graduation ceremony and is now heading for a full release. Read on for the details.

Ovi Suite 3.1.1 Beta first emerged a few weeks ago, bringing with it a host of new features, including the direct download and installation of free Ovi Store apps, games and the like from the Ovi Suite home view straight to a connected phone, a simplified Maps view, improved patch support and more.

And after a successful trial period, the latest Ovi Suite update has now graduated and the full Nokia Ovi Suite 3.1.1.75 update has been released for direct downloads from the Ovi Suite portal.

Anyone currently using the Beta version should be getting updated at present, while a web update for users of Ovi Suite 3.1.0.91 and older will be heading out in the coming weeks.
