First came the Nokia X7, now Nokia has announced a deal with mobile network Three to deliver a dedicated page on the Ovi Store for the UK provider, letting subscribers pay for recommended apps on their monthly bill.

Nokia X7 Available Now from Three in the UK

The dedicated Three-branded Ovi Store page will be available to Nokia Symbian^3 users on both pay-monthly and pay-as-you-go deals, and will showcase a choice of 40 recommended apps for the latest generation of Nokia smartphones that can be purchased simply by adding the cost to their monthly phone bill.

The announcement is the second big slice of Three-related news coming Nokia users' way after it was revealed that the network would be bringing the Nokia X7 to the UK on both monthly contract and pre-pay – and the Nokia X7 will be the first of Nokia's smartphone to be integrated with the new recommendation service.

“We are extremely pleased to be able to provide operators an easy and flexible way in which to both differentiate themselves in the market place as well as providing a unique and targeted offering to their consumers,” Nokia UK general manager Conor Pierce said in announcing the service. “We are delighted to be supporting Three with this concept through the Ovi Store.”
