Nokia X7 unboxing

The Nokia X7 is the latest of Symbian Anna smartphone and comes with a 4-inch touchscreen, amazingly slim body design and 8-Megapixel camera. It’s just landed on our doorstep in a rather stylish and compact box. Check out what’s on offer with our Nokia X7 unboxing review.

The Nokia X7 is the largest pure touchscreen device in the current lineup and while it shares the same screen size as the Nokia E7, this is very much a different beast entirely. With no keyboard and only a single Menu button the device itself, the Nokia X7 is all about the screen.

What’s more, being an X Series device, it’s more about the consumption of media, that’s movies and websites to us common people, than it is for the creation of high-end video.

The Nokia X7 comes in a rather swish box with a slide-out front compartment rather than the standard top-opening box. As soon as we opened the box we realised how much slimmer this device was than how we remembered it as the Nokia X7 launch back in April.

The full-metal body of the Nokia X7 looks amazing. Like the Nokia N8, it’s a unibody design so you’ll find the battery is already built into the smartphone. Buttons on the side are kept to the bare minimum with just SIM card and microSD slots on the left-hand side and rather small and flush buttons for the camera and volume/zoom buttons on the right. The top of the phone has Power switch, USB connector and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Nokia X7 is a great looking smartphone and powered by Symbian Anna we’ve so far found it to be quick and responsive. The screen looks sharp and bright and while we’ve not had a chance to fully check out the battery life, we’re happy with how smooth everything looks and feels.

We’ll be bringing you a full review once we’ve got to grips with what the Nokia X7 and its Symbian Anna interface has to offer. In the meantime, check out our Unboxing and if there is anything you’d like to know about this smartphone, please let us know in the Comments below.
