A new video ad has just popped up for the Nokia X7, showcasing the Symbian Anna powerhouse as a cowboy ready to take down any rival. And for our money it's a role that suits the 4-inch screened wonder pretty well. And here's why...

It breaks the rules
Any decent cowboy worth his salt is a rule-breaker, a maverick who does things differently, and there's no question that the Nokia X7 is the smartphone equivalent. It's got a look and feel all its own, and leaves the mainstream to the mundane masses.
It's got a steely glint
Cowboys are hard men not afraid to get down and dirty, and with its stainless steel chassis and boldly angular design we'd imagine the Nokia X7 wouldn't do too badly if it got caught up in a bar-room brawl.
It's easy to look at
All your classic cowboys have something about them that makes you look twice, and in the Nokia X7's case that something is its gorgeous 4-inch AMOLED touchscreen. As the advert itself says, it's “everything you love, bigger”.
It's quick on the draw
There's no prizes for coming second in a gunfight, and the Nokia X7 is equally uncompromising when it comes to performance. Whether you're talking processor speed, its 4-inch AMOLED touchscreen, or multimedia playback, the Nokia X7 delivers performance where you need it.
It's a hit with the ladies
In any decent western you'll find a potential Mrs Cowboy that our steely hero has his eye on, and in the Nokia X7's case that lovely lady's name is Anna – Symbian Anna, the all-new operating system that debuts on the X Series range-topper.
OK, we'll admit we've run out of strained analogies between the Nokia X7 and classic John Wayne-style movies, but however you choose to look at it the Nokia X7 has a presence all its own and adds something unique to Nokia's smartphone portfolio – a presence you can check out in more detail by hitting the Play button and watching the ad below.
