If there’s a smartphone in Nokia’s current lineup that’s quite simply made for gaming, it’s the Nokia X7. It’s fast and responsive, packs a bold design and comes with a superbly sharp 4-inch display that will do any gaming title justice. 

So we won’t be surprised if getting stuck into some free games from Nokia’s Ovi Store is one of the first things you do with your Nokia X7.

And right now there’s more reason for that to be the case than ever: until the end of September Nokia is offering some of its top premium games to Symbian^3 and Symbian Anna users completely free of charge as part of its Summer Gift of Games promotion.

It’s a great offer, as our list below shows, so take advantage before time runs out. One word of caution, though: many of these games are large downloads of 100MB+, so are only really suited to being downloaded via Wi-Fi rather than your phones own mobile data bundle.
