Nokia's three new Symbian Belle handsets announced this week – the Nokia 600, Nokia 700 and Nokia 701 – may all have a three-digit number for a name, but each of them has a personality very much its own.
The Nokia 700 is all about compact fashion-friendly design. It's Nokia's smallest smartphone ever, measuring 110mm x 50mm from the front and coming in at just 9.7mm thick.
The new Nokia 700: slimline Symbian Belle elegance
But while you don't get much in terms of size or weight, there's no shortage of quality in the Nokia 700's feature set. The 3.2-inch screen is a high-quality AMOLED panel, and sits right against the Gorilla Glass screen to create the impression that icons are floating on the surface of the device.
You're well covered in the power department too thanks to a 1GHz processor – clearly multitasking isn't going to be a problem here.
And of course then there's Symbian Belle itself, which offers the versality of up to six homescreens, each customisable with free-form widgets that come in a range of sizes so you can have exactly the features you want on each homescreen, laid out in whatever way suits you.
Rest assured – we can't wait to get our hands on the Nokia 700 so we can get to grips with all these impressive features, but in the meantime Nokia has been kind enough to provide us with a video to give us a better sense of exactly what we have to look forward to.
