Nokia Beta Labs have announced that the long-running Nokia Software Updater app for Windows has finally graduated to finished status, with version 3.0.495 having been officially released to consumers. Read on for the details.

Nokia Software Updater (or NSU) is the software you install on your computer to update your Nokia smartphone's operating system to the latest version.

It has been around for about two years now, but until now it has been available in beta form only through Nokia Beta Labs, but for Windows users at least the beta phase has ended with the arrival of NSU 3.0.495, which brings with it support for Symbian Anna along with a number of other small updates.

Nokia Beta Labs says anyone with the NSU client installed will be updated to the latest version automatically the next time they open the software, and promises to continue updating the software, though no further changes to the UI are expected. Nokia Software Updater for Mac continues as a separate update.
