Symbian Belle is the talk of the town right now, with Nokia's new OS lining up a bumper crop of new features to look forward to in the next few months. In the meantime, Nokia has set up a dedicated Symbian Belle website so you can find out more about what's in store.
Symbian Belle: 10 things you need to know
We're still basking in the warm glow that was Symbian Anna's general release to all of Nokia's high-end smartphones, but it's safe to say Symbian Belle will mark a far bigger step forward when it lands via an update for existing handsets, and baked right into new devices such as the Nokia 600, Nokia 700 and Nokia 701.
Features like deep NFC integration, homescreen widgets you can resize and lay out however you like, and six different homescreens to play with. Those are just a couple of the highlights we're looking forward to, but they're by no means all that Symbian Belle has in store.
And thanks to the new Symbian Belle microsite, you can find out more about all of these exciting new features for yourself, so you can get a sense of what Symbian Belle will bring to your own handset, or maybe start planning to upgrade to a new device.
The site is packed with useful information, and features video clips of Symbian Belle's next-gen NFC features and a closer look at those customisable homescreens and how they work.
Better still is the focus on the three new handsets that will launch Symbian Belle to the world – the Nokia 600, Nokia 700 and Nokia 701.
All three are given extensive attention, including an overview of their key features, some nice pics to feast your eyes on, plus video content to have a look at too.
It's a great way of acquainting yourself with what each has to offer – especially if you're still getting to grips with Nokia's new naming convention and aren't sure which handset offers the kind of features you're looking for.
It's all there on the new Symbian Belle website, so go check it out for yourself, and feel free to let us know what you think afterwards in the Comments below.
