We've still had no official confirmation on when we'll see the official unveiling of the debut Nokia Windows Phone we're now waiting for so keenly, but we're hoping for some good news at Nokia World 2011, which takes place in London on October 26 and 27.
Nokia World 2011: Something big to look forward to
Nokia certainly looks to be lining things up that way, and the latest confirmation to that effect comes from the official agenda and list of speakers for the event, which not only includes all the chief Nokia faces you'd expect including CEO Stephen Elop, but a lineup of top Microsoft executives too.
Chief among them is “Mr Windows Phone” himself Joe Belfiore, who will address the conference at 1.35pm on the first day on the topic of “Building a different kind of UI”.
Other Microsoft attendees are set to include Online Microsoft senior vice-president Yusuf Mehdi, who will participate in a panel discussion on business mobility; Brandon Watson, senior director of Windows Phone 7 development and Matt Benke, general manager of Developer and Marketplace, who will both be revealing more about the Microsoft mobile OS and what it offers Nokia users.
