We've seen the Nokia N8 camera excel at aerial photography, and now the Nseries Blog has taken things to the opposite extreme by showcasing the 12-megapixel camera's micro shooting abilities – with bugs as the common theme.

The Nokia N8 still gets attention for its camera's class-leading resolution, but as we've learned over the course of the year, its prowess as a mobile camera is about so much more, and not only that Nokia is continuing to make things even better through feature-packed updates released purely to enhance the Nokia N8's photographic abilities.

Nokia N8 camera update brings huge list of new features

That's partly the reason why there's so much great photos out there that have been taken with the Nokia N8, and thanks to Nokia's plans to update the N Series powerhouse to Symbian Belle, we don't see signs of that changing anytime soon.

And we're happy to keep sharing those pics, too. But while we've seen some gorgeous photos over the months taken by creative and talented Nokia N8 users, this latest collection isn't quite in the same category.

Close-up shots of weird and wonderful insects isn't everyone's cup of tea, so if you're particularly squeamish you might want to give this one a miss, but otherwise head over to the Nseries Blog for the latest example of why the Nokia N8 remains the favourite choice of mobile users serious about their photography.
