Nokia Windows PhoneWith Windows Phone 7.5 Mango now available for download and Nokia World 2011 coming in a few short weeks, anticipation for the new Nokia Windows Phone’s is higher than ever. With Windows Phone 7.5 Mango packed with great new features and proving a joy to use, we won’t have to wait long to see it in action on the latest Nokia Windows Phones.

Nokia Windows Phone OS Smartphone: The Facts

While we have no idea at this stage how the new Nokia Windows Phone’s will look, they’re sure to be stunning if the gorgeous Nokia N9 is anything to go by. With Windows Phone 7.5 Mango packing such a stylish and colourful interface, it’d be great to see this level of design quality matched in the hardware and we have no doubt that Nokia is sure to deliver when the first Nokia Windows Phones are released in the coming months.

Nokia Windows Phone: Thoughts on Design

What we do know is how impressive Windows Phone 7.5 Mango is. The recently released OS is a real pleasure to use and has set the bar very high for other mobile operating systems, making it easier than ever to stay connected with friends and family, keep entertained while you travel and get the best of the internet no matter where you go. Combined with its smooth and intuitive user interface, it’s a fantastic OS for work and play and we can’t wait to see it in action on Nokia’s new Windows Phones.

Windows Phone 7.5 Mango: Top 10 must have features

As well as making it easier to take better pictures, share videos with friends, stay connected with smoother social network updates, or even enjoy the best that your local area has to offer, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango is also the best mobile OS we’ve seen for browsing the internet and enjoying email on your smartphone.

Using Internet Explorer 9, web pages load faster than ever, the user interface allows you to see more of the web and less of the software itself, and new hardware accelerated graphics render images, animations and videos even faster than before. Even viewing YouTube videos is easier than ever, as you no longer need to download and install a standalone YouTube app.

And with Outlook Mobile built-in to Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, it’s even a doddle to manage all of your emails from your Windows Phone. You can easily set up multiple accounts, bring together your emails and calendar events, and even view your emails by threads, using the new Conversation View. Packing everything you need to manage your busy life, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango will make the perfect fit when the new Nokia Windows Phones arrive.

We can’t wait to see what Nokia will deliver in the next few weeks and we’ll be bringing you all the latest news as it happens. But what are you most looking forward to seeing on Nokia’s Windows Phones? Are you most excited about the hardware, the software, or seeing both in action together? Let us know in the Comments section below.

I hope Nokia doesn’t hide its 1st Windows phone too long because of many tough competitors out there. Market them asap! (of course with reasonable price too)

I’m looking forward to seeing both together. OS wise Windows Phone interested me, the UI is very clean and well thought out, but all that’s moot without good hardware. In my view Nokia and Motorola are the only companies consistently making phones you can rely on to work in emergency situations, so I’m glad one of them is releasing models with Windows Phone (LG occasionally makes some quality hardware, but it’s a bit hit and miss). The N9 style hardware looks to be very practical in terms of ergonomics, pocketability, durability and performance. CBD for clarity in direct sunlight is also a very useful point in addition to the expected call quality and reception performance. The Metro UI is also very usable with one hand, and the restrictions will keep the problems that plagued Symbian away for some time.

I’m quite looking forward to the Sabre/703, as long as it has an autofocus camera with Zeiss optics.

I`m NOKIA user since 1998, but now i`m using iPhone and blackberry.
the major problem in NOKIA devices is the Symbian OS. it was verey slow and hang. for that i shift to use iPhone for best speed and graphics and BB coz it`s best mobile for emails. but now i hope that Windows will make a hug change of me and return back to use my love brand NOKIA.

I have been a Nokia user for twelve years. While I am looking forward to the new Windows phones, I find the lack of information frustrating. Come on, Nokia, let us know when these new phones are going to come out – and what the specs are!

@wongotheroden : We know what you mean, knowing what the first batch of Windows Nokia Phones will be amazing but it’ll soon be Nokia World 2011 and all the facts should be spilled there – here’s hoping!

Clearly, Nokia and its CEO Elop have everything at stake with their new smartphone. It must be a blockbuster. The company’s future depends on it . There stradedgy for release is not to buck the just announced Iphone 4S (which is merely an upgrade). The N-8 with its 12MP camera w/ Zeiss lens, state of the art WORLD maps with Navtecq of a year ago shows Nokia back then had more to offer than any Android or Apple product. Now with Mango OS people have real choices and Nokia the opportunity to once again emerge as a world class phone. Elop, IMHO, is to Nokia as Iacooca was to Chrsyler. Wait and buy their phone. Better yet buy their stock and make some money!

I now have a Nokia Symbian phone and is waiting for Nokia Windows Phone. What I must have is Nokia’s OVI maps & good camera. Not a fan of Apple nor Google.

I think Microsoft should have a sole partnership with Nokia and focus on dominating using the Nokia hardware with the new Windows Phone OS.

Nokia hardware, excellent marketing, and dedicated vendor platform sounds like a winning combination punch IMHO. It worked for Apple quite well, and Microsoft is well positioned to put them on their toes.

I hope these new Nokia Windows phones will be as good as some of the previous phones. I’ve had Nokia Smartphones from the beginning with the 6600 and have hung on through the not so good N71, N78, LOVED the N95 and now the average N86. High hopes for the next generation. And please, please, please, let the phones have a covered/ protected camera.. (unlike the N8) that is at least the equal of the N95 :o )
