Windows Phone 7.5 Mango Social Networking: All you need to know

With so many great new social networking tools in the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango update, the new breed of Nokia Windows Phones will be the best smartphones you can buy for staying in touch with friends, family and colleagues via Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, among others.

Windows Phone 7.5 Mango’s new Face Detection and Photo Tagging tools make it quick and easy to tag your pictures before or after uploading them to Facebook or SkyDrive. Scanning your photos to automatically detect people’s faces, adding a nametag to your photos is an easy three-step procedure.

As soon as you take a photo, you can go straight to your Camera Roll gallery with one click and then Windows Phone 7.5 Mango will scan the photo for you and highlight any faces it finds. All you have to do then is to tap on the face you want to tag, type in the person’s name and tap Done; and you can then upload your tagged photo straight to Facebook or SkyDrive.

And it’s not just new photos that you can tag, as you can also tag existing photos that are already in your Facebook or SkyDrive albums. As one of the only smartphone operating systems to let you tag your photos as you take them, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango on a Nokia Windows Phone is the perfect choice for social networking fans.

We’ll be bringing you new guides each day to all the great features that will soon be coming to Nokia Windows Phones courtesy of Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, so stay tuned and let us know if there are any features in particular that you’d like to know more about.
