Nokia Lumia 710 Windows PhoneKevin Shields, senior vice president of Mobile Smart Devices, unveiled the Nokia Lumia 710 this morning, which is being seen as the entry-level partner to the Nokia Lumia 800. Read on to find out more about the second Nokia Windows Phone to be announced.

The Nokia Lumia 710 is a 3.7-inch touchscreen smartphone with the same processor and Windows Phone experience as the Lumia 800. This is the message that Shields brought to the audience at Nokia World 2011.

It comes in a choice of black or white. The back cover can be replaced and you'll be able to personalise the Lumia 710 with the same choice of colours that are offered in the Windows Phone Tiles; a move intended to open up the Windows Phone experience to a whole new audience.

Stephen Elop, Nokia CEO, summed up the Nokia 710, by saying that it and the Lumia 800 are "Examples of extreme product making, design and software integration. Lumia form follows function and maintains Nokia's long line of beautifully designed phones."

The Nokia Lumia 710 hasn't been given a UK launch date yet, but with the zeal that Nokia is striving for, it can only be a matter of time before the Lumia 710 is on the streets and in users hands. It is expected to ship in the Far East by the end of the year and will be part of a portfolio of devices in the US in 2012. When it comes to price, you'll find that 270 euros, before taxes, will get you this entry-level Nokia Windows Phone.
