How do we know? Well, Nokia has been running a series of adverts on the TV over the weekend and the date is nicely positioned on there, that's how. In the advert we get to see people experiencing the amazing everyday, from simple pleasures such as seeing a fox running down an urban street, to wind-surfing around carparks and even ironing to a funky beat. Now, you won't find the date on the ad in the YouTube clip but is it part of the ad here in the UK.
Retailers, such as Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U are already taking orders, as are networks including Vodafone, 3 and Orange, and you'll find the Lumia 800 is available on a choice of contracts, from as little as 12 up to 24 months.
Prices start at as little as £26 per month on 24-month contract with Vodafone, with the Lumia 800 handset costing £199, or to get the Lumia 800 for free you can opt for a 24-month contract with 3, which nets you the handset for just £30 a month.
With interest around the Nokia Lumia 800 building by the day, it would seem getting your pre-order in right now would seem the best way to make sure you get your Windows Phone handset on day of launch. Check out the Nokia Lumia 800 pre-order page.
