As well as the Nokia Purity HD over-the-ear headset, Nokia also unveiled a second set of new headphones at Nokia World 2011. The Nokia Purity Stereo Headset is a colourful pair of in-ear headphones, which make the perfect companion to any music fan’s Nokia phone or MP3 player.

Designed and created in association with audio specialists Monster, the Nokia Purity Stereo Headset comes in a choice of black, blue, pink or white. Built using high-quality scratch-resistant materials, they aim to be as tough as they are eye-catching and are built to survive a busy life on the move.

Weighing just 18g, the bright in-ear headphones connect easily to any Nokia phone or device that has a 3.5 mm audio jack (in short, all MP3 players and mobile phones). And with its long 1200mm cable, you can easily enjoy your music, while your phone or music player sits safely in your pocket or bag.

Built using Monster’s patent-pending, tangle-free design, the cable features a flat profile, rather than the usual round cables you see on most headphones. When combined with the use of ultra-flexible materials, it aims to make the cable completely tangle-free, to protect the cable from damage and save you frustration.

To ensure a snug-fit in any ear, the Nokia Purity Stereo Headset comes with five sizes of ear-buds. And thanks to their effective noise isolating design, ambient noise is almost completely blocked out, letting you enjoy your music in peace, no matter how loud your surroundings.

It’s not just music that the Nokia Purity Stereo Headset is great for; the headphones are also designed to be equally effective when making and receiving calls. With its ControlTalk features, you can control your calls and music with one touch, via the play/pause, volume, and answer/end controls located on a compact control panel on the headset's cable.

And if you want more detailed technical specifications, the Nokia Purity Stereo Headset’s built-in speakers measure 9mm, and have an impedance of 32ohms and a frequency response from 20-20,000Hz.
