Nokia Maps for WebNokia Maps for Web has seen a recent update and now brings a stunning range of new features to the service, including a full 3D view, guides to the best things to do around the world and even a handy A-to-B travel route planner for more than 420 cities.

The new Nokia Maps 3D view looks great and is fully integrated, meaning there’s no need for any annoying plug-ins. While it’s only viewable though the Google Chrome browser at present, other browsers are already being tested.

With its photorealistic images and detailed maps of the world, you can get a great sky-high view of cities around the globe. And with editorial pages for more than 50 of those cities, you can easily discover cool things to see and do in London, New York City and Melbourne, among others.

Not only that, but Nokia Maps also gives you access to the latest weather updates and even a range of Lonely Planet suggestions, helping you to not only keep up-to-date on local weather forecasts but also to find even more things to do around the world, no matter which city you find yourself in.

Probably the handiest new feature of Nokia Maps though, is the detailed route planner. With A-to-B route planning for more than 420 cities, you can plan your journey on local trains and underground systems, and more than 30 cities even feature detailed timetables to tell you exactly what time to be at the station.

You can try the great new features for yourself, via your Google Chrome web browser, by visiting Nokia Maps.
