Nokia Lumia 800: Top 10 things we already love!
Following its announcement at Nokia World 2011, the Nokia Lumia 800 has been available for pre-order from Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4U, Orange, Three and Vodafone for over a week, in the run up to its full UK release on the 16th November.
As well as offering the Lumia 800 on monthly contract, though, UK service provider Three has also confirmed that it will be stocking the Lumia 800 SIM-free and will be selling it for just £399, making this gorgeous 3.7-inch Nokia Windows Phone a fantastic bargain for the holiday season.
As Samsung has also announced its new Google Android-powered Galaxy Nexus will be released on the 17th November, just a day after the Lumia 800, we’ve been checking out the latest pay-as-you-go deals, to see how pricing for the two phones compares.
With retailers such as Amazon UK currently offering the Samsung Galaxy Nexus SIM-free on pre-order for £550, the Android handset will cost a whopping £151 more than the Nokia Lumia 800. When you consider that other high-priced handsets such as the Apple iPhone 4S retail for £499, it’s pretty clear what a great bargain the cutting-edge Nokia Lumia 800 is.
