How to delete apps on a Nokia E6With such a great selection of apps available for the Nokia E6 at the Nokia Store, it’s never been easier to find an app for pretty much any task you can think of. However, there may occasionally be times when you want to delete apps from your Symbian Anna smartphone, so we’re here to show you how.

Since it’s so easy to install new apps on your Nokia E6, it is no surprise that Nokia has made is just as simple to remove them. With just a few clicks on your Symbian Anna handset, you can banish an unwanted app, to free up some space on your smartphone and make your apps menu a bit clearer.

To delete an app from your Nokia E6, start by clicking the Menu button and then tapping the Applications icon you see onscreen. A full grid of all of your installed apps will now appear, so next you can just tap on the Options button at the bottom left of the screen and then tap the option labelled Edit.

The grid of apps will change appearance slightly, with each app highlighted within a box and featuring a textured backdrop. You can now navigate the list to find the app you want to delete and then tap and hold on the app’s icon to open a new menu, where you’ll see the option to delete the app from your E6.

By tapping Delete, a confirmation dialog will appear that lets you authorise Symbian Anna to remove the app for good. All you have to do is tap on Yes and a process bar will indicate the removal of the app, followed by a confirmation to let you know that the app has been deleted from your E6.

You can then repeat this process, to remove any other apps that you don’t want to stay installed on your E6. And then, once you’re finished, you can tap the button labelled Done at the bottom right of the screen, to return to the default apps view and get back to using your Nokia E6 smartphone as normal. The whole process is quick and easy and can be accomplished in no time.
