While managing your connections via the various Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular and Airplane Mode sections of the Windows Phone 7.5 Settings menu is simple enough, Network Dashboard brings them all together into a single control panel, letting you access them with a tap via a clear, tile-based layout.
Mimicking Windows Phone’s Start screen, the live-tiles automatically update on the fly, to show the status of each connection. Tapping on a tile then takes you straight to the relevant section of the Windows Phone 7.5 Settings menu, providing faster and easier access to your Lumia 800’s various connections.
A feature that many people will find even more useful is that Network Dashboard lets you pin any of your connections directly to the Windows Start screen, for instant access on your Lumia 800. Completely removing the need to navigate to the Settings menu to change connections, it makes a great time-saver.
Not only that, but you can even use Network Dashboard to remind you when you need to toggle your Wi-Fi or Mobile Data connections on or off. It takes just a few clicks to set a reminder for any time of the day, at which point Network Dashboard will tell you that it’s time to manage your connections.
