To celebrate the launch of the Nokia Lumia 800, Nokia is offering a fascinating insight into the design process of its first Windows Phone, followed by a free night of art and music, including the chance to see the Turner Prize 2011 exhibit and enjoy tunes from Maximo Park’s Lukas Wooller.
Following the release of the Nokia Lumia 800 earlier this month, the commercial and critical response has been fantastic, with a huge amount of praise flowing in from all corners. To help celebrate such a successful launch, Nokia is giving you the chance to enjoy a great night out on them, while learning more about what went into creating this stunning new Windows Phone.
Starting at 7pm on Thursday 24 November, you can visit the BALTIC Centre For Contemporary Art in Gateshead for a free night of art and music. Kicking off with a talk by Peter Griffith, Nokia's Head of Mobile Phones Industrial Design, Nokia is offering an exclusive insight into the world of design and the design process of the stunning Nokia Lumia 800, Nokia's first Windows Phone.
Following this fascinating presentation, you will then be able to enjoy full access to the many great works of art on display at the BALTIC Centre, including a chance to see the Turner Prize 2011 exhibit, as well as see works by Mike Kelley, Michael Smith and Bani Abidi, letting you enjoy a great night of culture for free, courtesy of Nokia.
Not only that, but when the exhibition closes at 9pm you can then carry on partying late into the night at the ‘Amazing At Night’ after-hours party, with complimentary drinks and music provided by Maximo Park’s Lukas Wooller and a range of great live DJs.
