Putting a comprehensive travel phrase book into your hands, Translator for the Nokia Lumia 800 lets you make effortless language translations between five languages at the touch of a button. With its clear and easy to navigate interface, you can quickly find the right thing to say, when travelling in Europe.

Using Translator on your Nokia Lumia 800 couldn’t be simpler. All you have to do is choose the language you want to translate from, then the language you want to translate to and then type the word, phrase or sentence that you want to translate. Then you just tap the Translate button for an instant translation.

Entering text into Translator is easy, thanks to the Lumia 800’s responsive capacitive touchscreen and Windows Phone's large onscreen keyboard. The only area of the interface that can be tricky to operate is when choosing languages, as the selectable area is very small and requires an accurate tap.

You can choose from English, French, Italian, German and Spanish and easily translate between any of these five European languages. And thanks to the app’s handy Phrases button, you even have instant access to many of the most commonly used sayings with just a quick tap of the Lumia 800’s screen.

And while many translation apps only give you an onscreen text translation and leave you to work out the pronunciation for yourself, Translator on the Lumia 800 tells you exactly how to pronounce the word or phrase you need. While the audio is sometimes spoken a bit too quickly, it’s a great feature nevertheless.
