To set up a Twitter account on the Nokia Lumia 800, first you need to access the phone’s settings. You do this by either swiping left on the Windows Start screen, or by tapping the right-facing arrow at the top right of the screen, and then scrolling down through the list of apps and tapping on the Settings app.

From here, scroll down the list of settings and you’ll see an option labelled Email+Accounts. Tap on this and then select the option to Add an Account and you’ll see all the default account types you can set up. However, before you set up your Twitter account, you’ll need to add a Windows Live account.

The Windows Live option can be found at the top of the screen, so tap on it and then follow the onscreen prompts to enter the details of your Windows Live account, or to set up a new account. Once your Windows Live account is set up on the Nokia Lumia 800, you can then set up your Twitter account.

From the main Email+Accounts page, you can now scroll down the list and tap on Twitter, which you’ll find located between Facebook and LinkedIn. Then all you need to do is connect to your Windows Live account, by tapping the Connect button, and you can then enter your Twitter account details.
