Tap Into Your Nokia Lumia 800

It’s always the same when you buy a new phone; you spend the first few days learning how to use it and then once you’ve mastered the basics you want to find newer and better ways to use all its great features. Well, with the stunning Nokia Lumia 800, there are plenty of handy tips for enjoying this great phone.

When you want to snap a perfect picture and you don’t want to waste time unlocking your Nokia Lumia 800’s screen and opening the camera app, with a few quick tweaks you can enjoy full access to the camera right from the Windows Phone lock screen. It’s quick and easy and we can show you how.

First swipe left from the Windows Phone Start Screen to access the apps list, then scroll down and tap on Settings. From there, you just need to swipe left again to view the Applications Settings and then you can scroll down to find and tap on the settings option labelled Pictures+Camera.

You’ll now see an option titled Press and Hold Camera Button To Wake Up The Phone, so if you swipe to change the switch to the On position you can now access your Nokia Lumia 800’s camera app anytime you like, even when the phone is locked, by holding down the camera button for a second or two.
