Few phones come close to matching the quality of the Nokia N8 and it’s no secret how much we love our N8’s, but it seems we’re far from alone. One keen smartphone fan has reached the end of the year with a range of popular handsets in his pocket and says the N8 is still the best of them all.

Even though the Nokia N8 was released more than a year ago, it’s still one of our favourite Nokia handsets and by far our favourite camera-phone. Few phones come close in terms of sheer quality and it is a device that feels as fresh today as when we first laid hands on it last year.
In one of the most comprehensive endorsements we’ve seen of the Nokia N8, though, one satisfied user has spent the past twelve months using the N8 alongside some of the best known rival smartphones in the business and has come to the conclusion that none of them come close to matching the great N8.
Ntutu Letseka – who goes by the name of The (Mobile) Tech Bishop – has put together an article titled ‘A celebration of hardware and why I still choose the N8’ and his ringing endorsement of the N8 is the perfect example of how the top-quality Nokia Symbian smartphone meets the needs of the man on the street.
After a stroll down memory lane with some previous Nokia handsets, as well as a look at rivals such as the Samsung Galaxy SII and the HTC Desire S, Letseka gets stuck into why he loves the Nokia N8 so much and why he feels that, even as we head into 2012, the N8 is still the only device he wants to use day in day out.
And it’s no surprise that much of what Letseka loves is to do with the Nokia N8’s stunning hardware. In his own words, “My view remains that while software can theoretically be improved, short of buying a new device, your hardware is fixed. And that is why I am still so fixated with the N8.”
And we’ve got to say we heartily agree! We love the Nokia N8 just as much, so here’s to another great year of enjoying the world’s best camera-phone. And with an exciting update to Symbian Belle just around the corner, our unbeatable N8 is about to get even better. We can’t wait!
