Nokia Asha 300 tech specs and official photos
Looking at the Nokia Asha 300, it’s one of those phones that looks fun and functional and is suited for both work and play. The design is the first thing to notice. The Nokia Asha 300 is a Series 40 candybar styled phone that comes in a choice of eye-catching black or red.
A generous 2.4-inch touchscreen gives the option to operate the majority of the phone’s functions by touch. Gaze just below the screen and you’ve got a hardware keypad. Nokia Asha 300 combines the best of both worlds to give it a retro, yet modern look and feel.
The Nokia Asha 300 was first announced at Nokia World 2011 in October as a phone for those that love to send messages, listen to music and want a handset that looks great. The Nokia Asha 300 fits the bill.
We promptly got our hands all over it, before coming away impressed. It weighs just 85g, is comfortable in the hand, and punches well above its diminutive weight.
We found its 1GHz processor capable of loading web pages incredibly quickly, and the 5-megapixel camera a joy to snap with. And we couldn’t resist giving Angry Birds a go. You can see our hands-on photos at the link below.
