The Nokia N8 was just one of the contestants in a camera phone face-off undertaken by technology news website TechRadar. In its article ‘Best camera phone: 6 handsets tested’, TechRadar tested six of the best camera phones.
The end result doesn’t surprise us one bit. The Nokia N8 was deemed to be the best of the lot. The site was impressed with the detail seen in Nokia N8 photos, and the vast array of photography tools and settings available on the phone to create its fantastic shots. Of all the phones tested “the N8 has the largest collection of settings available” said the site.
A resolution chart used by TechRadar to analyse some of the results showed that, thanks to its 12-megapixel sensor, the Nokia N8 was able to “record significantly more detail” than the rest of the handsets under the microscope.
It’s that sort of performance that has seen Nokia N8 fans such as Richard Dorman, who just might be the Nokia N8’s biggest fan, live by the handset. On his personal website Only Fools and Mobiles, Dorman regularly takes a look at the latest Nokia phones, taking a particular liking to the Nokia N8.
You only need to look to his blog to see what the Nokia N8 is capable of in the real world, outside of test conditions. And that’s why we love the Nokia N8, which continues to stand the test of time. And with the new Nokia Belle operating system set to arrive soon on the Nokia N8, the user experience is set to improve further.
