Early sunset

The warm glowing light in the middle of this photo instantly caught our eyes. We love how the sunlight is framed either side by the snow. The pedestrian walking by looks as if he's on his way to work, bright and early, while everyone else is warm at home in their beds. Or so we like to imagine.

We just couldn’t resist another sunset photo. Here the Nokia wonderfully captures the orange glow gleaming out from the sun to the far right, where the eye is automatically drawn to.

The battered-looking camera and satchel in this shot lends a tired explorer feel. It looks like the sort of shot Indiana Jones might take, relaxing in between hunting down curse-ridden artifacts. The lighting lends a sombre mood. The ray of light on the glass is a nice touch.

The colours in this shot blew us away. Just look at those greens. The solid lines of the car contrast nicely with its soft surroundings.
For something with a little less vegetation, we’ve chosen this photo purely because, as with Christian VeVa’s photo above, we love the colour. The blue tint lends a professional feel to what would otherwise be a very dull photo.
