App Highlights version 1.0.13.0 update hits Nokia Lumia with Windows Phone

If you haven’t checked out Nokia’s App Highlights app on your Nokia Lumia 800 or Nokia Lumia 710, you really should. It’s the best available way to keep informed of the best new apps and games.
App Highlights tells you about Top Apps – a selection of popular or highly regarded applications that are creating a buzz for one reason or another. The Cool Stuff section, meanwhile, picks out some of the quirkier or more interesting applications on the Windows Phone Marketplace – apps like the new Kaleidobooth visual art app, for example.
Perhaps the handiest section, though, is the On Sale section, which – you guessed it – tracks apps and games that have had their prices slashed recently. It’s a great way to pick up a bargain.
Finally, Starter Kit presents some of the absolute essentials to get you going on your Nokia Lumia adventure. These are fundamentally useful applications such as Flashlight, Dictionary and Unit Converter.
Nokia’s not shy about updating its App Highlights app, so expect more improvements and additions in the future. It seems this new version 1.0.13.o is a simple fix of some kind, as we can’t see anything particularly new. But then, it’s already one of the most useful apps available!
