Due to the way Microsoft has structured the core of Windows Phone 8, it seems current devices won’t be able to take advantage of the operating system but that doesn’t mean development will end. You just need to look at the various Apple and Android variants out there to see that diversification is a part of modern smartphone life.

However, the guys over at wmpoweruser have turned up an interesting chart that highlights the features the Windows Phone 7.8 update will deliver. Sure, we won’t get IE10 as this is solely for Windows Phone 8 at this stage, but it looks apps, such as the DataSmart that monitors your data usage and akin to Counters that Nokia has already announced for Lumia smartphones.

Bluetooth transfer could might work as a game changer. I love Nokia, never opted for any mobile phone. BT file transfer should be added in updated 7.8 at least for Lumia 610 and Storage device function as well.

No, I’m saying now that you didn’t understand what I just said.

You paid once for an app, you DON’T pay again. Marketplace remembers that you paid for it and you can just download again.

  • Jimmy_Jangle

No you don’t have to buy them again. Any purchase you made on Marketplace is remembered, you will only need to reinstall it at no extra cost.

I mean, WTF? You HAVEN’T BEEN CHEATED.
