Nokia Pulse is a brand new app that is still in Beta phase that is most definitely a smarter way to use your messaging. After all, it takes a standard text message and courtesy of Nokia Maps adds useful and location based information for all to share. If you’re worried about privacy then you needn’t be, as Pulse only shares your message with the people you choose and no one else. This means there is no complicated login and use scenario like some services.All you need is an email address for your contact and Nokia Pulse will do the rest.
Nokia Pulse is here to bring even more differentiation to your Nokia Lumia experience than any other Windows Phone device. The app is still in development but already it’s offer a richer way to stay in touch.
Nokia Pulse works by tagging messages you’re sending to friends and family with your current location, as well as mixing in essential location based information. It does this by tying in with other key Nokia features using Nokia Maps.
Nokia Pulse as the skills to pack your messages with vital information, such as great places to meet up, along with map, directions, and even reviews of what’s on in the area.
Create a Pulse or a conversation live tile by selecting “pin to start” for the Pulse app or a specific conversation. The Pulse live tile notifies you of a new message from any conversation while the conversation live tile lets you know when a new message is received in that conversation.
When you send a message to a friend, they can use their Facebook log-in with Pulse if they don’t already have a Nokia account.
Getting started with Nokia Pulse is incredibly easy. All you need to do is download it from the link below and you can either log in using your Nokia account, or even Facebook if you prefer.
Nokia Pulse Beta software is still under development, may have bugs, and is published for testing and feedback purposes.
