Skype 2.1 update for Windows Phone 8 rolls out
Skype 2.1 for Windows Phone 8 has just popped up on our Nokia Lumia 920 bringing with it a number of fixes and updates for the app that is still in Beta phase.
It seems the team behind Skype for Windows Phone 8 have been working hard on improving reliability and the performance of the app, which is still considered to be in Beta stage, so may still have a few issues left to iron out.

Over at the Skype Blog they’ve listed the changelog for the Skype 2.1 as well as pointed out that they have had to ‘also temporarily disabled the People Hub integration as it was causing issues with device stability.’ It seems their working with the Microsoft team to resolve the issue so integration can be brought back into the fold for later updates.

Buddies from Windows Live Messenger are labeled in the People list.

Added option to enable toast notifications for Windows Live Messenger buddies.
