The Nokia Lumia 620 is the latest addition to the Windows Phone 8 family and is the entry-level member of the Nokia Lumia range. Budget priced it may be but that doesn’t stop it from having some hidden talents. Here we show off a few photo and video samples of the Nokia Lumia 620 in action.

The Nokia Lumia 620 comes with a 5-Megapixel camera that is capable of handling 720p video capture at up to 30 fps (frames per second). This means you get a great experience on what is considered an entry-level smartphone. Obviously, you won’t find the optical image stabilisation found in the high-end Nokia Lumia 920 but video is pretty impressive for for is a £150 cameraphone.

When it comes to taking photos, we’ve discovered one things when running these tests, fish are difficult to capture! Still, we managed to get some great shots with the Nokia Lumia 620. All the images here were taken without Flash in subdued lighting, as you would expect in a fish aquarium.

Here we’ve set the Nokia Lumia 620 to Close-up mode, so you can really pick up the detail of your subject. Being fish tanks, there is a layer of glass between the subject and the camera but even so, we managed to get some pretty great shots.

After hitting the sea life aquarium, we hit the arcades. Once again, all the objects are behind glass but there is natural sunlight to give you a comparison between the darker light of the fish tanks.
