Nokia Lumia 625 hands-on (photos and video)
The Nokia Lumia 625 has landed and we managed to get a very special sneak peek of the new large screen, super-fast Windows Phone 8 smartphone. Check out how good it looks with our Nokia Lumia 625 hands-on (photos and video).
The Nokia Lumia 625 is built around a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display with a standard 800 x 480-pixel resolution. It comes with a curved glass screen, Gorilla Glass 2 and super-sensitive touch technology for use with nail and gloved hands.
The Nokia Lumia 625 is the largest Lumia yet but with an overall size of 133.25 x 72.25 x 9.15mm and weight of just 159g, it’s a slim and super-compact smartphone that feels great in the hand.
It’s powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM, making this very much a mid-range smartphone at a bargain price. We found it loaded quickly and ran smoothly. It comes with 8GB of internal memory and microSD slot with support for up to 64GB cards.
The Nokia Lumia 625 comes with a 5-Megapixel camera that offers LED Flash and autofocus as well as support for Cinemagraph , Panorama and Smart Camera. Video support has been boosted and can handle 1080p video recording at 30fps.
The Nokia Lumia 625 will be available in five colours and we got the chance to try out the new Orange colour ahead of the launch. The colour technology on the polycarbonate shells has evolved and you’ll find the colours even richer than previously.
It’s a great looking smartphone that feels amazing in the hand. As with the other budget priced members of the Nokia Lumia family, you’ll be amazed at the attention to detail and value for money Nokia has added to this smartphone.
What do you think of the Nokia Lumia 625? Big screen thriller or what?
