Nokia Drive is the best way to get to your destination without spending extra cash on a dedicated sat-nav. With Nokia Drive you won’t even need one – it has all you need to get you from A to B. Nokia Drive works on any Nokia Lumia phone such as the Nokia Lumia 610, Nokia Lumia 710, Nokia Lumia 800 and the Nokia Lumia 900.
Nokia Drive also works on Nokia Belle phones including the Nokia N8, Nokia E7, Nokia C7, Nokia C6-01, Nokia X7, Nokia E6 and Nokia 500, Nokia 700 and Nokia 701.

Setting your destination
To get started you’ll need to set a destination. Doing so is easy. You can do so by many ways: Search, Voice Search, or by dipping into your Contacts book, History, or your Favourites section. We’ll be explaining each feature here, so do read on.
2D and 3D mapping
Nokia Drive uses 2D and 3D mapping to suit whichever view you prefer. The 2D view is great of you wish to keep things simple when getting from A to B, while the 3D view is a neat touch for those that love to see what’s around them while on a leisurely cruise, with the 3D view providing a nice angled perspective on your journey.
Voice-guided navigation
Nokia Drive features voice-guided navigation to ensure you’ll never get lost en-route in languages and dialects from every major world city and continent to help you feel at home wherever you’re driving to.
Traffic warnings
Turn on the traffic option from the main menu, and Nokia Drive will display coloured lines indicating how heavy the traffic at that given time. It’ll help you determine which route to take, and may save you lots of precious time. Green lines are a good sign, but watch out for red indicators warning of heavy traffic, road closures, or accident zones. Nokia Drive will even display the location of speed cameras, just so you know where they are.
Navigate to your contacts
A Contacts section lets you select any contact from your contacts list, and enable Nokia Drive to help you steer to them. Tap on the Contacts button and then select which contacts you wish to set off to, with full directions given by Nokia Drive’s mapping abilities. To drive to your friend Bob, select Bob. And off you go – it’s much easier than manually entering or searching for their address.
Voice search
Nokia Drive has a most excellent Voice Search tool. Just tap the Voice Search button and tell the Nokia Drive app where you wish to go to, and within just a few seconds Nokia Drive will present a list of possible locations. Select the one that matches, and Nokia Drive will instantly lay out the route there. A Route Overview function lets you see the entire route at a glance.
History
Nokia Drive remembers each journey you take. You can find them all in the History. Just select any of your past journeys for Nokia Drive to plan once again.
Favourites
If said past journey is a regular, you may wish to add it to your favourites list. It’s a much more efficient way to keep track of your most visited destinations.
Night mode
For those nighttime journeys Nokia Drive features a Night Mode that turns down the brightness, and greys up your route to avoid glare. It can also be used during the day during bright conditions, should you wish.
